Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) is a type of therapy most commonly used to address behavioural issues that affect children. It is beneficial for children who suffer from autism spectrum disorders and those with severe behavioural problems that require intervention by a trained professional. By dividing the behaviours in question into smaller tasks and addressing each task individually, ABA therapy can provide the tools needed for children to manage their everyday interactions and activities more effectively.
Our Behaviour Therapy Team work with all ages using various therapy techniques which are evidence-based treatment to effectively reduce behaviours of concern.
We can help with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, panic, grief and loss, eating disorders, addictions, parenting, trauma, autism, ADHD, relationship distress and school related stress.
We believe that parents and guardians are the experts when it comes to their children. With this in mind we offer Parent Education sessions facilitated by our Behaviour Therapy team.
Throughout the year we offer a number of Group Programs either during the school term or through the school holidays. Group Therapy involves one or two therapists working with a select small group of clients. Groups are often designed to target specific areas such as anxiety, depression or behaviour problems. Other groups focus on improving social skills or helping clients cope with a range of challenges such as low-self esteem, emotional regulation, shyness or a recent loss.
Our dedicated team of friendly and experienced Therapists provide services based on current research, evidence based, holistic and individualised services to achieve goals.
